Häagen-Dazs chooses not to compromise

In an ever increasing business environment where businesses believe they exist to generate revenue, Häagen-Dazs stands out. They recognize they exist not because of the money they have earned but rather the quality of their product. I can’t imagine the ice cream business is easy sailing, but with an attitude like this I am sure they will persevere.

From their website:

To offset increasing costs, we did not consider reducing the quality of our ingredients or the care we take in making your ice cream, sorbet, and frozen yogurt. We opted instead to slightly reduce some of our carton sizes.

It’s tough time for any business, but it’ll become even more tough if everyone begins to compromise their standards.
